Hydrocotyle sp honda – AP014

Hydrocotyle sp honda is a beautiful aquatic plant that hails from Southeast Asia and is recognized by a variety of names. It is ideal for novices. Most aquascapers enjoy it because it grows quickly and requires little upkeep. It’s regarded as a fantastic carpeting plant because it spreads throughout the foreground and extends its runners on a daily basis. It takes some time for the plant to acclimate and shape itself inside the tank. Maintaining them in the aquarium requires some training and physically pressing the stems into the substrate.

The foliage on this plant is quite lovely. The aquaspace is brightened by the brilliant green foliage. The leaves are remarkable because of their deep crenulations that are divided into three lobes. The vertical stems, in addition to the beautiful leaves, assure a carpet-like growth and creation at the aquarium’s base. When properly trained, Hydrocotyle tripartita becomes the greatest foreground plant for giving the aquarium a unique and enticing appearance. Rapid development and proliferation are aided by good lighting.

Although it resembles Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides the most, there are several distinctions, the most notable of which are the deeply indented three- to five-lobed leaves. Not just because of its attractive leaf form, which mimics clover in appearance, but also because it is less demanding than the regularly available Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides. It grows more quickly and has a creeping or overhanging growth habit. It develops quickly in the presence of plenty of light and CO₂, as well as a plentiful supply of nutrients, and may even become invasive.
