Asia’s Microsorum pteropus is a 15- to 30-centimeter-tall water fern to be grown on a stone or root using a fishing line until it takes hold.

Covering the rhizome will cause it to rot, so plant it in the bottom.

Simple to spread by parting the flat rhizome. a robust plant that thrives in all environments. Contrary to popular belief, sporangia—reproductive organs—are the cause of the black spots beneath the leaves.
