Eleocharis vivipara is an excellent choice for creating higher "meadows" in the aquascape. It closely resembles the Eleocharis acicularis but it does grow a lot taller. A non demanding plant but requires nutrients in the substrate.

Hygrophila Lancea Araguaia is also called Hygrophila sp. "Araguaya Sharp Leaf. This Hygrophila was given the name Araguaia after the Brazilian river, but it was later identified as the Asian Hygrophila lancea. It has reddish-brown leaves with a lighter-colored central vein that grow in a line under water.
