‘Wabi’ means something aesthetic, imperfectly beautiful and natural and ‘kusa’ means ‘grass’ or ‘plant’.

Wabi-kusa are balls of substrate that are covered with plants and grown in their terrestrial forms. These substrate balls do not require any planting, instead can be placed directly into a small glass container or  just be placed on the aquarium’s substrate.

We have used some of the best materials to construct our Wabi kusa. ADA Soil, Tissue Culture and Greehouse plants form the base. It is very simple to use and has a compulsive power that is undeniable.
A celebration of the wildness in your aquariums.

Note: Wabi Kusa require lights and fertilisers for optimal growth. Do look up fish compatibility as well, before ordering.
