Rotala Macrandra Bangladesh is a very pretty red plant from India. Rotala Macrandra Bangladesh is a very demanding stem plant. These live aquarium plants form colorful, tall bushes and are best placed in the background to midground of an aquarium.
It requires high-intensity lighting, no shade, and high CO2. Individual items must be spaced far enough apart for the lower leaves to get adequate light to avoid shadowing.
In optimal conditions, the plant can grow up to 4" each week once established. To retain the Rotala's distinctive pretty red color, make sure it's high in phosphates (1.5-2.0 ppm) and low in nitrate.
