Pogostemon helferi is an unusual but lovely aquarium foreground plant. The curled form and dark green tone of its leaves give it a distinct appearance. This plant was given the Thai name "Daonoi," which means "tiny star." Its natural habitat is the riverbeds between Thailand and Burma, it lives submerged and partially immersed too.
