Typically stays low to the substrate but can grow upwards if not trimmed.

 Requires medium to high lighting to thrive. Intense lighting encourages compact growth.

Benefits greatly from CO₂ supplementation, though it can survive without it.

It is a  fast-growing under optimal conditions.
