Microsorum Pteropus: 'Narrow Leaf' is also known as Asia's Java Fern Narrow Leaf (Microsorum pteropus) is a type of aquatic fern.
Aquariums look great with this robust plant. It is widely used due to its extraordinary shape, slow growth, and ease of propagation and care.
It works well with all kinds of fish and doesn't need any particular water conditions, which is why aquarists love it so much. Java Greenery Thin Leaf is presumably the easiest plant to develop for fledglings.
The Java Fern belongs to the Polypodiaceae family, which includes more than 60 distinct genera. This family has a class called Microsorum. Microsorum pteropus, also known as Java Fern, is one of the Microsorum species that is perhaps the most well-known.
It originated in South East Asia and is a wild fern that frequently grows along the waterline of steams and cascades on rocks, the ground, and around tree trunks. Similar to grass, it also fills in tropical jungles. Java ferns with narrow leaves can grow either completely or partially lowered.
It should be joined with a fishing line and tied to a root or stone until it takes hold. Cover the rhizome when planting at the base to prevent spoilage. It is simple to divide the flat rhizome and propagate. a robust plant that thrives in all environments.
Care Tips:
1. Do a fractional water change of around 25% in your aquarium, water component, or lake no less than two times every month.
2. Microsorum, unlike many aquarium plants, doesn't need a lot of CO₂. It requires a lot of oxygen in the water.
