Water Parameters

  • Temperature: 20–28°C

  • pH: 6.0–7.5

  • Hardness: Soft to medium

Lighting

  • Thrives under low to medium light.

  • Strong light can cause algae buildup on its leaves.

Substrate & Nutrients

  • Does not need substrate planting—attach to driftwood, rocks, or decorations.

  • If planted in substrate, keep the rhizome above to avoid rotting.

  • Benefits from occasional liquid fertilizers but not essential.

  • CO₂ is optional—it grows well in both low-tech and high-tech setups.

Growth & Maintenance

  • Slow-growing and hardy.

  • Minimal trimming required; simply remove old or algae-covered leaves.

  • Can survive a wide range of aquarium conditions.

Placement in Aquascape

  • Ideal for foregrounds, midground accents, and nano tanks.

  • Excellent for attaching to hardscape elements like stones and driftwood.

  • Provides contrast with fine-leaved or red plants in aquascapes.

Plant Format

Tissue Culture

Tissue culture plants are young aquatic plants that are developed in-vitro in aquatic plant propagation laboratories. This unique cultivation ensures these plants are devoid of undesired snails, algae, and pesticides, making them completely safe for even the most delicate fish and shrimp species.

We offer a diverse range of tissue cultured aquarium plant varieties. Our cultures provide substantial planting portions, and when combined with high-quality fertilizers and CO₂ injection will grow into healthy aquatic plants.

Just lower the root portion of the tissue culture's clump that needs to be planted directly into the soil until it is buried halfway into the aquatic soil.
