They are simple to cultivate and require little upkeep. Dwarf hairgrass is naturally amphibious, thriving in both partially and submerged conditions. It can be used as both a spawning medium and a foreground plant.
Dwarf hairgrass plants are brilliant green aquatic plants with long grass-like pointed leaves, as their name suggests.
Water temperatures between 21 and 28 degrees Celsius are ideal for dwarf hairgrass.
Moderate lighting of 2 watts per gallon or more from full spectrum intensity, i.e., 5000 to 7000K, is ideal for growing dwarf hairgrass.
