Strip thermometers, commonly referred to as sticker thermometers, are affordable and simple to use.

It’s also known as a liquid crystal display or LCD thermometer because the temperature reading is provided by the changing colour of the liquid crystal ink.

Digital aquarium thermometers are not to be confused with these.

How to use it?

• Clean the outside of your aquarium as well as the area where your thermometer strip will be placed. Make sure your aquarium’s whole surface and outside are dry.
• Remove the thermometer strip from its packaging. Make sure there is no remaining packaging material on the strip. On the reverse of the strip, there should be some plastic that you need to remove. Make sure the strip’s surface is free of debris and completely dry.
• On the reverse of the strip, there should be some plastic that you need to remove. There should be a sticky surface on the back of the strip. This is the side you’ll use to decorate the aquarium. Make sure the strip’s surface is free of debris and completely dry.
• Place the thermometer strip on the tank at the desired location. When applying the strip, make sure it’s smooth and even. Wait at least 20 minutes after applying your strip for the best effects.
