Seachem Flourish Excel 250ml – Flourish excel is a source of bioavailable organic carbon and all plants require a source of carbon

 It may be derived from simple organic compounds (such as photosynthetic intermediates) but typically got from CO₂.

The use of either CO₂. injection or flourish excel does not rule out the possibility of using both.

Having said that, the processes of creating photosynthetic intermediates and building on them happen at the same time, using flourish excel alone or in combination with CO₂ can provide a significant benefit.

The combination is particularly ideal for situations when continuing to add CO₂. could result in dangerously low pH levels

Seachem Flourish Excel has iron reducing properties that promote the ferrous state of iron (Fe+2), which is more easily utilized by plants than ferric iron (Fe+3)

By using Seachem Flourish Excel , you avoid the use of CO₂. and instead introduce already finished, structurally identical compounds.

Seachem Flourish Excel can be used in the carbon chain building process of photosynthesis because of its structural resemblance. It can be easily converted to any of the molecules such as  1,5-bisphosphate, and 2-carboxy-3-keto-D-arabinitol 1,5 bisphosphate using simple chemical or enzymatic procedures (or a variety of others).
