ReOcean Bactrix Filter Media 600ml: Bactrix ReOcean Bacteria colonies on the inside and outside of the building.

It is a high-porosity biological media that efficiently remove nitrogen waste through biofiltration.

It provides the same amount of surface area (>900 m2) as 200 liters of plastic balls!

Feature

Bactrix provides both exterior and internal macroporous surface area, whereas plastic bio-materials just give external surface area.

These macropores are the perfect size for nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria to thrive in.

Unlike other types of bio media, Bactrix can remove nitrate, ammonia, and nitrite all at the same time in the same filter.
