Vallisneria nana: Australia’s Vallisneria nana is a solitary contrast plant with narrow, rosulate, dark green (less than 1 cm) leaves.
In small aquariums, it can also be used as a background plant, making it an excellent mid-ground plant.
The leaves of this species of Vallisneria are neither quite as long nor as narrow as those of other species.
Vallisneria nana readily produces offshoots, so in favorable conditions, compact vegetation will soon emerge.
