ADA has given this Cryptocoryne the name ‘Pink Panther.’ It has unusual pink tones and appears to be related to Cryptocoryne wendtii ‘Flamingo.’
Cryptocoryne Pink Panther, often known as Crypt Flamingo, is a popular pink Crypt aquarium plant. When planted in an aquarium, its characteristic ruffled leaves and rich pink color add a special touch. New leaves are bright pink at first but fade with time to a brilliant pink that goes nicely with any water plant.
Crypt Flamingo, like all Cryptocoryne, is relatively easy to grow and manage once established in a planted aquarium. In a well-established planted tank with CO₂ injection and adequate light, this aquatic plant will thrive and experience much better development.
The optimal site for Cryptocoryne wendtii ‘Pink Panther’ is in the midground to the foreground. It’s best to have good lighting and a nutrient-rich bottom.
Care Tips
- Sufficient light (medium onwards) to get good coloration
- Avoid extreme water parameters
Tissue culture plants are young aquatic plants that are developed in-vitro in aquatic plant propagation laboratories. This unique cultivation ensures these plants are devoid of undesired snails, algae, and pesticides, making them completely safe for even the most delicate fish and shrimp species. We offer a diverse range of tissue cultured aquarium plant varieties. Our cultures provide substantial planting portions, and when combined with high-quality fertilizers and CO₂ injection will grow into healthy aquatic plants. Just lower the root portion of the tissue culture's clump that needs to be planted directly into the soil until it is buried halfway into the aquatic soil.Plant Format
