The Estimative Index (Tom Barr’s famed fertilizations method) formula is provided in a ready-to-use concentration in the 2Hr Aquarist APT e.
This plant food is ideal for achieving a high Estimative Index and for plants that need to grow quickly.
APT Complete contains the 3 macros nutrients Nitrogen(N), Phosphorus(P), Potassium(K), + Iron(Fe) + Essential Trace Minerals. All in the right amounts.
APT 1 or APT 3 would be a preferable alternative when regular maintenance is not possible, COâ‚‚ levels are not adequate, or the aquarium has a low plant mass.
